I went to undergrad at the University of Virginia and Montana State University. I graduated with a bachelors in English Literature and a minor-equivalent in Filmmaking in 1992. Then I attended Stanford Law School and graduated with a JD in 1996. By this time I already had two great kids who were 8 years old (my daughter) and 6 (my son). I joined a law firm in Bozeman then after 18 months I hung my own shingle and practiced a total of 10 years in criminal, family, and youth law. In 2004 my family and I moved to South Korea to give the kids an overseas experience. I taught law part time at Pyongtaek University. In 2006 we moved to Vicenza, Italy. My wife and I split up in Spring 2008. My kids are both in college and I'm studying for a Masters in Human Rights and Democratisation in Venice, Italy.
